A complete online store for MGM Collections
Building a complete e-commerce platform for a gold-covering and fancy jewellery brand — storefront, cart, WhatsApp ordering, admin panel, and billing in one system.

- The challenge
- MGM Collections needed to sell online without losing the WhatsApp-based ordering flow customers already trusted, while the back office still ran on manual billing and stock tracking.
- The solution
- An online storefront with a full shopping cart, one-tap WhatsApp checkout, an admin panel for managing the catalogue and orders, and built-in billing — all working together as one system.
- The result
- MGM Collections now runs storefront, orders, and billing from one connected system, with WhatsApp kept as a first-class checkout option instead of a workaround.
The challenge
MGM Collections sells gold-covering and fancy jewellery, and a large share of its orders already moved through WhatsApp — customers would browse photos, ask questions, and confirm an order over chat. Any new website risked breaking that familiar flow if it forced people through an unrelated checkout.
Behind the scenes, the picture was similarly fragmented: stock, orders, and billing lived across notebooks and spreadsheets, with no single place to see what had actually been sold.
What we built
We designed the platform around the ordering habit customers already had, rather than replacing it.
- A full storefront with cart. Customers browse by category, view product pages, and add to cart — shopping online feels just as easy as messaging a photo on WhatsApp.
- WhatsApp checkout, built in. Customers can move straight from cart to a pre-filled WhatsApp order message, keeping the conversation the team is used to handling.
- An admin panel. Staff manage the catalogue, prices, and incoming orders from one dashboard instead of editing files by hand.
- Billing software. Orders and billing live in the same system as the storefront, so there's one source of truth instead of three separate notebooks.
Why it matters for jewellery retail
Jewellery is a high-trust, high-consideration purchase, and WhatsApp had already earned that trust for MGM Collections — customers were used to asking questions, seeing photos, and getting a personal reply before confirming an order. Forcing a switch to an unfamiliar checkout would have worked against that trust rather than built on it. Keeping WhatsApp as a first-class checkout path, instead of routing everyone through a generic "pay now" button, meant the new storefront extended the buying experience customers already liked instead of replacing it.
The outcome
MGM Collections now has an online storefront that feels native to how its customers already shop, backed by an admin panel and billing system that replace the old spreadsheet-and-notebook routine. Staff can see stock, orders, and billing in one place instead of reconciling three sources by hand at the end of the day.
